The 700 Lumen dive light is powered by the latest quad die, Cree MC-E emitters. The brightness exceeds that of common dive lights in the $500 range that use 10, or 12 watt HID (High Intensity Discharge) bulbs. The magnetic switch technology allows simple one hand operation and insures that no water seeps in to damage internal components. The aircraft grade aluminum casing is CNC machined and has a hard anodize level 3 coating that is corrosion resistant and insures that the light stays rust and corrosion free after many salt water or fresh water dives. The included 18650 Lithium-ion batteries are easy to replace between dives, and recharge in just a couple hours. Unlike most dive lights, the Tactical MC-E dive light is also ideal for day to day use in other non-diving applications. The light is not excessively bulky, and unlike popular dive lights does not have a special underwater canister that houses the batteries. This makes this dive light the most versatile light in its class.
