Application: Designed for military, law enforcement, border patrol, fire departments, marine/coast guard, searching, police, rescue, and other public and private security organizations in mind. However, it is ideal for: recreational activities too, such as camping, hunting, night fishing, airsoft nigh gaming, hiking, aviation, boating, and in case of an emergency can be seen for miles.
Quality Guaranteed: The Tactical line is made with a military-grade precision machined high-strength forged aluminum alloy casing to provide maximum protection and prevent corrosion/rust. Also, the case is molded with a grip placement designed for easy grasping and handling. We stand behind our products and offer a 3 month warranty!
Versatility: The Tactical line includes a 100-240 AC charger and portable 12V car charger that can be used anywhere in the world.
Emergency Built-In LED: The Tactical line carries a high-capacity internal lithium ion battery that delivers stored power to illuminate this powerful flashlight for 1+ hours on a full charge (35W). Lithium ion batteries hold their charge longer than alkaline or metal hydride batteries, so the Tactical is always ready for use when stored for long periods of time. When the battery voltage is lower than operating voltage, the flashlight will shut off. Simply remove the lithium ion battery and flip on the switch to turn on the three built-in LEDs in an emergency situation.
Full Focus Adjustable Lens: The lens is made of a hardened glass that houses these German quality bulbs and is focus adjustable. With a simple twist of the head, the beam can be adjusted from spot to flood.
Combination Lock Case: The signature combination lock case features a dual support stand, synthetic foam inserts to absorb mild impact, rubber exterior soles to enhance grip, brushed aluminum corners and anti-reverse rivets to strengthen the case’s integrity, and a combination lock mechanism.

Are the Black and silver the same light ? as in your 2nd picture they look different but in your first they are the same
I sincerely apologize for the confusion. The recent stock of 35W SILVER looks exactly the same as the 35W BLACK. Anyways, as of now the 35W SILVER is OUT OF STOCK until further notice. Thank you for stopping by Tactical HID!
I am impressed with the light and the price but I am very underwhelmed by the 40.00 shipping. That is enough to keep me from purchasing. I can hardly see why the 35w is twice as much to ship as the 24w??????
Hi James, The reason shipping costs twice as much as the 24W is because it costs us on average 2- 2.5x as much to ship the 35W. The 35W DOES NOT fit into a Priority Mail flat rate box. The 24W costs about $10 to ship and $2 or so for delivery confirmation and insurance and then another $6 in Paypal fees for a total of about $19 actual cost, and that’s why shipping is set at $19.99.
Because the 35W doesn’t fit in a priority Mail box, we have to use our own boxes, and shipping is a lot more expensive typically ~$25-30 including insurance and then a $1-2 for the box and packaging and then $7.50 in Paypal fees. If you want to save a little money, we will give you a discount if you pay via Money Order. Also if you opt out of paying for Priority mail, we can ship via Parcel post for about $5 less.
Feel free to contact me for more information. admin (at) tacticalhid.info
Thanks for stopping by Tactical HID!
Will there be a adjustable output selection, eg Hi, Med Low on future models?
Thank you for your question. Future models will likely have a 28W and a 35W setting. This model will not be introduced though for a while as it is still in development. ETA 3 months maybe.
Thanks for stopping by Tactical HID!
@Jason
Will the 24W model have the adjustable output selection?
We are always working with the manufacturer to increase the amount of features and options on our flashlights, however the 24W is not something that has been discussed or is in development at this time. Maybe by the end of the year the 24W will offer multiple modes. Thanks for your question!
Your ebay auction of the 24W HID lamp indicates the head is focus-adjustable. But the description above includes the caveat “(35W Only)”.
So, I am confused. Does the 24W have a focus-adjustable head?
thanks…
Hi, the 24W’s head is slightly focus adjustable. The 35W is much more adjustable though. Here is an example picture of the 24W and what it looks like when adjusted: http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/8315/beamshotna3.jpg
Thank you for your question!
Is there no exceptions to shipping to Canada?
Sure we can ship to Canada. It will cost about $10-15 more.
If your interested in purchasing a light, then please send me your Paypal address, and I’ll send you an invoice. You can email me at admin (AT) tacticalhid . info
Thanks for your question!
Is the 35 watt HID available ina 4300K colr temp?
We only offer 6000k at the moment. We do include a 3000k filter with our 35W. It might be possible to swap out the bulb with an automotive 4300k bulb. Thanks for your question.

Your store front appears to be in SC and I’m local so can we do a pick up instead of shipping.
Local pick-up is available. Please e-mail me at ek9_ctr@yahoo.com and we’ll schedule a pick-up date. Thanks!
do you sell replacement battery pack’s ? or can I use my own 18650’s in it? also how lond doe’r a bulb last and do you sell replacement bulbs and part’s? as soon as I can I will place an order,it seems to bee a lot of flashlight and brighter then I can do with a mag-mod . I hope you still have these by the end of next month,my order should be placed. Thank you for your time. wayne Farrar
Yes we can supply you with a replacement battery pack, or if you have soldering skills and some heatshrink you can replace the 18650’s in the pack yourself. They are rated for 500 cycles, so they should last a few years… We can supply you with bulb / ballast replacement parts, or anything else that you may need. The actual bulbs are rated at 3,000 hours of use, so with proper care the flashlight should last a long time… We have a couple dozen 35W’s in stock, so we should have a few left by the end of the month. I’d suggest ordering as soon as you can though. Thanks for all your questions and your interest!

I have been trying to purchase the 35w flashlight. However, a message keeps popping up stating that Paypal cannot process any orders from your website. Please let me know what the problem might be and when it will be resolved so I can place an order. Thank you,
What flashlight model are you trying to order? I just checked out the site and things seem to be working just fine. I can send you a Paypal invoice directly, just let me know the item and the total amount and your paypal email address. You can email me at admin (AT) tacticalhid .info
Let me know as soon as possible so we can process your order!
@Jason
Jason,
I am a computer idiot – sorry; no fault on your part. I just didn’t choose what to order. Thank you for promptly replying to my inquiry.
I did manage to place my order correctly once I finally realised the error of my ways. Thank you for your patience. Looking forward to receiving the 35w flashlight.
John,
Glad to hear everything worked out for you! Thanks for your order, it will be shipped out soon and you will get a tracking # in your email.

Where is the button to turn the light on and off? is it a tail cap or mid way button for the light? does the 24w have a case for a duty belt or do you have ideas how to carry it other then in the hand?
Jerrad, thanks for your question. The button is built into the battery pack, and sticks out from the tail cap. You can see how at the end of the battery there is a slight bulge, and that is the rubber covering around the switch. As far as a case goes, you could probably just use a maglite belt ring. I’m sure there are other cases out there, but I don’t know of any.

Hello, do you still have any of the 35 watt Black flashlights . What will be better and faster ? A postal check ,sent out, for $240.00. I can place this order as soon as I hear from you. Thank you for your time Wayne Farrar
Wayne, we do have 35W Black flashlights in stock. We accept USPS Money orders. I sent you an email with more information. And also you get a $5 discount for paying via MO.
-Jason
Thank you for your quick reply, I will try to get the check out to you first thing in the morning Tuesday , my mailing address and E-Mail address will also be sent. If you have a price shet on extra battery packs and any other accesorys please include a copy please.. Again I thank you for your quick reply, I was worried I would not get the funds before you sold out… many thanks wayne Farrar
I hope everything goes well with your company, I will write you about what I think about your 35 watt when It arrives and I have some time to use it. It sure is nice to see something built good and sold at these prices, here in the USA and not that expensive Chinese CRAP for twice as much. Now only if mag instrument co will wake up and smell the coffie. they could sell after market parts if they wanted to. and then they would have a better product then anything that comes out of China. AMERICA better wake up. you are giving or hopefully giving some of our american companies a jump start. Keep up the good work. and to hell with the chinese.
Hello,I sent your check out mondat,at the time your site said you still had a dozen 35 watt {BLACK } Hid Fl;ashlights. I just now read on your site that they were sold out as of2/11/09. My order was sent Monday the 9th. I was told you have them,so the postal check went out within an hour from the time I contacted you. Can you tell me if I was in time ? and Approx: how long it will take for me to recieve the package ? Also Do you or will you have any , upgrade kit’s later, to upgrade the 35 watt HID. a more powerfull bulb or anything elas that will make a good addition to this Falshlight/ If so I will like to check it out, but I guess it will be hard to upgrade perfection. I thank you for your time, and if you have any information to set my mind at rest please notify me. It has been a long time searching for a flashlight like this, and being on disability ,it was shear luck to be able to find you, I am worried I may loose out on this. I have been wanting this flashlight for a few years and thanks to your company ,I now have a chance. Again thank you, and please keep me informed. wayne Farrar.
When will you have more 24w in? Hopefully soon I really want one.
We hope to have more of both the 35W and 24W in soon (in the next 2-4 weeks hopefully). You will be contacted via email when they come back in stock.
-Jason
Can i pay using a Canada Post International Money Order, in US dollars? and would you be able to ship USPS?
Yes, this is no problem because it doesn’t cost anything for us to cash the MO at USPS. However currently the flashlights are out of stock. I will contact you when they come back in stock. Should be in about 1 month. Thanks!
Hello,I sent the postal money order out on the morning of 2/11/09, I just read that you are solod out of the Black 35 watt HID Flashlights. Was my order placed in time?
Mr. Wayne Farrar,
Your item has been processed and shipped out. Here is your USPS tracking number:

Thank you so much for your business! Hope you come back soon!
This is one “Bad To The Bone” flashlight! If you are looking for a super bright flashlight this is the one. I have the 35w and Iam very happy with this HID Flashlight.
When do you expect to have the 35 watt black back in stock?
We will have both the 24W and 35W back in stock in less than a month. Thanks!
How bad is the shadow from the lead going to the top of the bulb.
i noticed it in the photos you have of the 24w and also on the hid light i looked at at Cabelas. I am asking if it gets large over several 100 ft. I like the prices you have but if the shadow gets large at a distance that just would not work.
thanks
The shadow is not noticeable thanks to the orange peel aluminum reflector. I just grabbed my 24W and stepped outside, and I could not see a shadow what-so-ever.
You shipped the package out tuesday, would you believe it was here today at 2:30Pm. I know that is not normal, but thanks for your quick rsponse. Battery is charger and now I can not wait yuntill dark to try it out.I can not afford now,but soon I will want to buy an extra batery pack. I think you quoted Approx: $50.00 for the new 35 watt power pack.It is always good to have a spare at hand. From what I have already seen this is one hell of a flashlight, I will send you my thoughts after trying it out at night. I do not think I will be un happy with this monster light.. KEEP UP THR GOOD WORK Thank you for such a nice flashlight,I promise to give it plenty of use. When I can stand up for a few hours. MANY THANKS wayne Farrar.
Dear Jason,
Thank you for the 35w hid flashlight. It is a great flashlight for the price. Overall, I believe your product is the best on the market today. Shipping and packaging was excellent.
A minor however: The 35w flashlight I received does not have an adjustable focus function. The front head of the flashlight does rotate easily 360 degrees, but there is no change in the light beam from flood to spot. The beam is flood only – there is no change if one were to adjust the head of the flashlight. After examining the flashlight housing around the bulb, it appears that this particular flashlight was never intended to be focusable. Your advertisement indicated that the 35w flashlight is focusable. However, again, as I mentioned, there is no mechanism for focusing this particular flashlight.
Maybe, there is something I am overlooking, but I have no idea what the problem might be.
Please, at your convenience, let me know how I can achieve a fully adjustable focus from flood status to spot focus and back.
Considering the only problem above, this remains a great light. Thank you for making it available for a reasonable cost.
Hello again, I recieved one ofyour 35 watt HID Flashlights. It came with a plastic len’s. Is this just a cover to put on when not in use to protect thr glass len’s from being scratched. I would not want to melt it all over the flashliht, but truth I have only run it a few times for about 7 to 10 minutes. when putting away the flashlight it will not effect the battery to top off the charge will it ? Being lithium I would not think so,but it never hurts to ask. It seems very powerful, but I have not had time to take it to the range yet,There the backstop is approx: 200 meters out from the bench. That is the place where fact and fiction will be put in it’s proper place. If I can get photos I will send you a copy of our findings, The HID and 3 mag-Mod’s which are quite impressive. thank you for your time and for such a nice product. wayne Farrar
@ John, you have to turn the flashlight head mutliple times for it to adjust the focuse. It’s not like a maglite where one 360* turn makes a huge difference.
@ Wayne the plastic lens you are refering to, is the 3000k filter. And it will survive the temperature of the HID bulb because it is not actually resting on the glas lens but above it. The robber sides of the 3000k filter help keep it away from the heat.
Lithium batteries do not have a memory effect, so you can top it off whenever you want. I’d like to see photos when you get a chance!
Thanks,
-Jason @ TacticalHID
Have you gotten in any 35W or 24W HID lights ???? What do you have in Stock?
Christian we just got some new P7 LED lights in. They look exactly like the 24W, except they are about 1 inch shorter and have a glow in the dark ring around the lens. They are really cool lights! The P7 LED’s are driven at 2.8amps @ 900 lumens. It has 4 modes Ultra High, High, Medium and Low. It comes in the same case as the 24W. We will be posting pictures and a paypal button shortly.
Also we just ordered a new and Improved 35W model (takes 15 days to produce and 3-4 to arrive. So it should be here late March). It is 4300k and is a fair amount brighter than our previous 6000k model. This new model also features two modes High (35W) and Medium (28W). Even the 28W medium is brighter than the 35W high on the 6000k version. I have one sample in stock that I’ve been using and its excellent! The clickly button lights up blue for High mode, and Green for medium mode. I’ll post pictures shortly. We will be taking preorders soon as well!
@Jason
Sweeeeet Can’t wait.
i’ll be hounding you down if i can’t get one
